Show Locations
The FASEM show is exhibited in two locations in Winona. The Board of Directors selects the work to be displayed in each gallery.
The Paul Watkins Gallery, Winona State University
The Paul Watkins Gallery is located in Watkins Hall at the corner of King and Winona streets on the WSU campus. The Department of Art manages the gallery which holds a rotating series of exhibitions by artists from the region. Many of the exhibitors visit campus to give lectures or gallery talks to students, faculty, and the public. Shows by faculty and by graduating seniors are also held each year. In January-February, Art Muse,a juried competition for all WSU students, regardless of major or minor is presented annually.
Lillian Davis Hogan Galleries, Saint Mary's University of Minnesota
The Saint Mary’s University Department of Art and Design manages the Lillian Davis Hogan Galleries for the enrichment of all students and the local community. Professional artists from the Midwest, as well as national and international exhibits, showcase a vast array of media throughout the year. Two student exhibits each year provide art enthusiasts the opportunity to experience the works of current art majors.
The late Lillian Davis Hogan, a former Ziegfeld Follies dancer and New York arts patron, made a significant bequest in her will to support arts programs and students at Saint Mary’s University. The Lillian Davis Hogan Galleries are located in the Toner Student Center at Saint Mary’s University.
